But in this particular article, I will show you what a Good Article actually is. Remember, On Page SEO gives birth to a Good Content. If you are on WordPress, then you will get many plugins that correct your On Page SEO fundamentals. But if you are on Blogger, then you have to manually do them. I have mentioned the basic to advanced On Page SEO factors in this post. So don't miss one of them.

Steps For Perfect On Page SEO

Follow the rules carefully to perform a perfect On Page SEO.

Step 1: Writing Title Of Article

Remember, If are you dependent on SEO, I mean if you are want to drive traffic to your article from Search Engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo etc, then you have to consider spending much time in choosing a title for your content. Because CTR(Click Through Rate) depends on Title. If your title is showing the visitor's need, then it has chances that he may click on your content.

You need to only add important keywords in your title. Don't add extra irrelevant keywords in title. Don't make your title so lengthy. Try to keep your title as short as you can. In fact, Google don't like lengthy titles. According to MOZ, the best length of title of a blog post is 60 characters.
I will write an separate article on writing title for your content that will boost your SEO.

Step 2: Meta Description Of Your Article

Look at this picture below, it's showing a meta description of a Webpage.

SERP-Preview(Title and Meta Description)
Include your keywords that you want to rank for. Keep your meta description in 160 Characters. Remember that, Google Snippet displays only some words of meta description. So try to write important attractive keywords in first words.

Step 3: First Paragraph

When you start writing your article, add your keywords in first paragraph. I apply a trick that saves my time and effort. Want to know that?? Yes! I know you want. Then listen. Just copy your first paragraph and paste it in your meta description. Then apply some modifications to keep it below 160 characters. I apply this trick in my every post.

Step 4: Headings

Headings are important for a article to be well designed. Because only simple words are attractive to viewers. Both viewers and search engines won't love your content if you don't add headings in your content.

There are many types of headings like H1, H2, H3 upto H6. H1 is a major heading. Remember, you need to add only a single H1 Heading. When Search Engines will crawl your website, crawlers will look at your H1 Heading. So, don’t forget to add your targeted keyword in H1 heading. If you use Blogger or WordPress, some templates automatically converts your post title into H1. Heading.

Then create more headings expect H1. But don't add same exact words in two or more headings. It will look like Keyword Stuffing. Moreover, Google may penalize your domain for keyword stuffing.

Step 5: Bold & Strong Text

Generally everyone uses bold tag instead of strong tag. Search Engines give attention to bold texts of your content. So try to wrap your keywords with bold texts. But don't add too much bold texts. When you're talking about some important thing in your article, then use bold that.

Step 6: Optimization Of Images

Images play a great role in Search Rankings. Your images must be descriptive. It should show your content. Then visitors from Search Engines will stay in your page. Google will consider your content valuable, then your other articles will start ranking on different keywords.

Your images must be in high quality, but in less size. If your images consumes so much data, visitors may not wait for loading and bounce away to different article. So always consider to compress your images. You can do it for free, just read this article

These are basic steps for doing On Page SEO. If you apply these correctly, you will see your articles ranking after couple of days. But remember On Page SEO doesn't work in Google if your website is in Google Sandbox.
